My PERM application had job location as " employers office and various client's site throughout US". The PERM was approved in EB2 without audit.
My company is in a different state. I am consulting and hence working in a different state. Do we specify the job location in PERM application ? If yes, does it matter that I am working at a different location ? I am working on applying PERM in EB-2. Thanks.

As they just started I-140 premium processing, I wonder why they cannot initiate 3rd stage premium processing.
I wouldn't mind spending a couple thousand dollars if I can get the actual green card in a couple of weeks after starting the 3rd stage. Time is money. If I can buy it, I will buy it.
I don't think it is very constructive to repeat the same story to the congress, which they are not tuned to. We'd better make various suggestions from many different angles so that they can pick at least some of them in a timely manner.
The last stage is already messy when USCIS made everything CURRENT and everyone filed whether visa numbers are available or not.. Do you want to add more to it?
But your idea of various suggestion is encouraging.

I have maybe a similar scenario..
MY 485 and old EAD have SRC hence at Texas. But I noticed that my new EAD has been applied for and has LIN.
Any ideas why would my lawyer do this?

AC 21 allows a job change after 180 days pending of I-485. Will that allow a job change for a similar job position that is employed by a US company but work internationally (i.e. not working in the US)?

My understading is that you can not work internationally. This information is based on one of the attorney conference calls IV organized a few months ago.
On another note, please contribute to IV's letter campaign - this is one way of helping yourself and increasing your options! It only takes a few minutes - sign your name to one of IV's template letters and stick a stamp on an envelope.

Basically, I need to know if it's required to actually send 3 years taxes or w/ Ws would be enough as initial evidence. The i-134 DO NOT ask for taxes, but for bank letters, employment letters and I think that for W2's.
Any past experiences would be much appreciated!

my 140 approved and 485 pending over 180 days. now plan to switch job from a big IT company to university (not study, but work in one of dept at Univ), title and job duty will be similar as before, but salary will be lower due to job industry and location changed. does this impact my 485 final approval? thanks

If you have a receipt as proof that an extension application was filed on your behalf before expiration of your H1 then you have 240 days starting from the day your visa expires before you should get an extension. You will be out of status if your case is not resolved in the 240 days deadline. I cannot comment on the implications of missing out on a deadline for responding to the RFE.

If the H1-B holder's labor is pending for at least a year then an 1 year extentions are granted. If the H1-B holder has an approved I-140 petition, the extention is granted for 3 years. I'm on my 9th year of H1B.

It has no effect on a future Citizenship application. Remember it is a payment against unemployment insurance which is paid by your previous employer/s.
As such it is not a burden on the state.

It just means that the company will have to answer "no" to the question on the PERM form as to whether the position requirements are normal for the occupation. This may trigger an audit where the company will have to justify the extra requirements based on business necessity. I've done this many times without a problem. I'm not saying it is easy, but if the employer has detailed business reasons for the requirements, it should succeed.

I got EAD on February 2008 with my primary GC employer. My PD is just 4 months away and I got a job offer in a big company which I cannot afford to loose.
The the job duties in my new job remain the same but I am worried to change job during this time when PDs are jumping very fast. The max I can delay the joining my new employer cannot be more than a 1 month. Please suggest the best approach...
Like others have pointed out - definitely worth it to switch over, given that you can use AC21.

I am in NYC. My wife's attorney Stephen Perlitsh, is just too busy to give us some career guidance and cancels our appointments in last moment. I have no problem paying a good fee if I can get a real good prefessional advice, it is very essential for us in this retrogressed scenerio.
